Overview Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live. Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation. Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference? Responsibilities Provide a safe, women‑only, trauma‑informed space where women experiencing homelessness, substance use and exploitation can access consistent care and support. Improve access to primary care through GP‑led clinical provision delivered directly from the River Women’s Hub, reducing inequalities and removing barriers to treatment Offer flexible, relational support that meets women where they are — blending outreach, in‑hub support, and coordinated pathways with River Liverpool services Expand therapeutic, wellbeing and confidence‑building activities, shaped by women’s voices and lived experience. Strengthen integrated working across River Liverpool, including seamless links with Brownlow Health, housing, mental health, criminal justice, and partner organisations. Champion women’s leadership and involvement, ensuring the Hub is co‑designed and continuously shaped by the women who use it. The applicant would be interested in working and supporting females affected by substance misuse, homelessness, domestic and sexual violence and exploitation. Providing support for IRIS Project and carry out: Urine testing Pregnancy testing DBS testing Issuing naloxone and harm reduction advice Needle exchange 1-2-1 support Carry a small caseload of female only clients and see them in the hub for 1-21 support . Signpost to partner agencies such as IDVA, RED UMBRELLA,PEARLS, WHITECHAPEL Most of our volunteer opportunities don’t need any special qualifications. We’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need. All we ask is that you're kind, open-minded and passionate about supporting people. Training: Attendance on training is an essential part for the volunteer role.
