The Township of Oro-Medonte is currently recruiting for the position of “Volunteer Firefighters” for Stations #2 (East Oro), #3 (Horseshoe Valley), #5 (Warminster), and #6 (Moonstone).

Successful applicants must have the following:

• A valid G Class Ontario driver’s licence; with a clean driver’s abstract
• DZ license preferred (must obtain within two years of employment)
• 18 years of age or older at time of application, with no criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
• Live within an acceptable distance to one of the hiring fire stations
