Description Title: Volunteer – Food Drive Event Dates: Every second Tuesday of the Month Every fourth Thursday of the Month Our Mission: The Mission of South-Central Family Health Center is to improve the quality of life for the diverse community of inner-city Los Angeles by providing affordable and comprehensive health care and education in a welcoming and multicultural environment. To lead the way in health care in South Los Angeles, as the premier provider and employer of choice offering comprehensive, high-quality, affordable, efficient, and culturally responsive services. General Summary: Our Food Drive Events will host the food bank and community members, nonprofit organizations, vendors, and our healthcare providers for a morning of health and wellness to promote valuable resources in our community. Our volunteers will play a vital role in the success of this event, providing support in various tasks, including attendee check–in, food distribution, answering questions, and monitoring food lines and other tasks as requested. Qualifications: Anyone over 18 years of age, is encouraged to reach out to us so that we can match your interests with our current volunteer projects.
