Our practical support volunteers visit local families at home to help with general garden tasks such as mowing, weeding, pruning and planting, enabling families to focus on what matters most.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Confident with basic home gardening skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Happy to visit new locations and engage with Demelza families
• Enhanced DBS check, references and training course for volunteering with families must be completed with Demelza before starting

OUR PRACTICAL SUPPORT ROLE IS FLEXIBLE:

• No minimum or maximum amount of support required
• Sign up to tasks that match your skills and interests
• Pick how far you would be willing to travel
• Volunteer on your own or as part of a small group
