JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a volunteer (unpaid) who enjoys taking photos and posting on social media to help us share the fun of our Junior Athletes programs. Junior Athletes is a kids’ sports program for ages 2 to 12 with multisport, basketball and even more options! It’s designed to help children build confidence, stay active, and create a connection with sport. This is a light, supportive role; you’ll simply help capture moments and spread the word about the great things happening in our programs.

Typical volunteer shifts are within the following hours:

• Saturdays: 8:30 am – 2:15 pm
• Mondays: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Tuesdays: 4:45 pm – 7:00 pm

These are not set shifts. These are simply the hours within which you will volunteer. For example, you may only attend Saturday from 12-2pm, Monday from 6-7 pm and Tuesday from 5-6 pm. Totalling 4 hours on the week.
Programs run from September 20th to December 2nd.

QUALIFICATIONS

• An interest in social media and/or photography — professional experience not required.
• Enjoys capturing moments and sharing stories through photos or posts.
• Comfortable writing short, engaging captions or updates.
• Reliable and willing to learn new things along the way.
• Any past experience with photography, social media posting, or content creation is a bonus, but not necessary.
