OVERVIEW

Lions Befrienders Service Association, a leading social service agency dedicated to serving the seniors in our community, is seeking proactive and results driven volunteer recruiters who can assist in the coordination of volunteers’ recruitment activities including public workshops/talks and match volunteers to the appropriate program (or work with programmes to tailor new ones) and clients, based on program requirements and volunteer interests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma/Degree in Business/Marketing/Customer Relations Management/People Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Volunteer Management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build good relationships with key stakeholders and to work in a team
  • Self-Motivated, independent and mature in programme coordination and management
  • Strong organisational and event management skills, with a keen eye for details
  • Resourceful, adaptable, ability to multitask under a timeline
  • ACTA/ACLP certification or equivalent will be advantage.
  • This role is a 1-year contract, Renewable
