Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Volunteer Newsletter Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and producing our monthly newsletter, ensuring it is visually appealing and effectively communicates our organization’s mission and updates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and Create: Utilize Canva to design monthly newsletters that adhere to our brand guidelines and effectively showcase our values, mission, and impact.
  • Content Gathering: Collaborate with team members to gather relevant content, including volunteer highlights, upcoming events, and mental health resources.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit newsletter content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the foundation’s tone and style.
  • Utilize Microsoft Tools: Manage content collaboration and archiving through Microsoft Word, Outlook, and OneDrive.
  • Distribution: Ensure the newsletter is finalized and distributed via email once a month, ideally during the first week of each month.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Collect and incorporate feedback from team members to continuously improve newsletter content and design.
