Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Reporting to our awesome Operations team, you’ll be the go-to person making sure our volunteers have an amazing experience every step of the way. From recruitment and onboarding to keeping our systems sharp and our processes humming, you’ll be the friendly face (and voice!) behind the scenes that keeps everything on track. Bringing the right mix of empathy, energy and problem-solving smarts to keep everyone engaged – even when tough conversations pop up.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (IN A NUTSHELL)

  • Support volunteers throughout their journey with Orange Sky, ensuring an exceptional experience from start to finish
  • Provide administration support by maintaining accurate systems, data and refining processes
  • Recruit, place and engage volunteers to ensure the right fit across teams
  • Communicate with energy and empathy, keeping people engaged while also navigating tough conversations when needed
  • Work confidently across multiple systems, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Help volunteers feel valued and supported, with a focus on recognition and retentionThrive in a dynamic environment by being agile, adaptable and solutions-focused
