The Boys & Girls Club of Worcester—a place where young people ages 8–18 come to build friendships, learn teamwork, and develop strong character through fun, structured social recreation has an amazing opportunity for you to volunteer in our Games Room. As a volunteer, you’ll support our team in creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every young person feels included and encouraged. Requirements Part-Time • School Year & Summer • Ages 8–18 Youth Programs From board games and tournaments to group activities and creative challenges, the Games Room is where fun and learning meet. We offer flexible, part-time volunteer shifts during both the school year and summer, 1-5 days a week: School Year: Afternoons, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM Summer: Daytime, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM You would help in: Assist staff in running games, activities, and social recreation programs Help maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere Encourage cooperation, sportsmanship, and healthy peer relationships Support youth in developing interpersonal skills and confidence Contribute to a space where fun and personal growth go hand in hand What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience working with youth ages 8–18 Opportunities to build leadership, communication, and mentoring skills A chance to make a meaningful impact while having fun A supportive team environment that values creativity and enthusiasm You must be at least 18 years old. As part of our commitment to safety, a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and national background check will be conducted, which includes a review of the sex offender registry and verification of social security number.
