The Brooklyn Hospital Center is looking for community minded volunteers to to be Patient Visitiors to our in-patient community. Patient Visitors engage patients in conversation, help get comfort items such as blankets and water, they also may help feed patients who may not be able to feed themselves. Ideal Volunteer will be: Kind, patient and able to be there for patients no matter their condition. Commitment: at least: 1 day or venening a week for 2 to 4 hours "Please note that all volunteer positions are unpaid positions and being a volunteer does not guarantee employment".
