OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our volunteer programme, ensuring that volunteers are effectively recruited, trained, and supported. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive environment for volunteers while aligning their efforts with our organisational goals. The Volunteer Coordinator will also engage with the community to promote our mission and enhance volunteer participation through various outreach strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising teams or groups.
  • Strong administrative abilities to manage records and documentation efficiently.
  • Experience in project management to oversee various initiatives involving volunteers.
  • Knowledge of public health principles is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to educate and engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Proficiency in social media management to promote volunteer opportunities creatively.
  • Experience in fundraising activities is a plus, demonstrating an ability to mobilise resources effectively.
  • A genuine passion for community service and the ability to inspire others to contribute positively.

  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, contributions, and feedback to assess programme effectiveness.
