Your Voice in Health and Social Care (YVHSC) is an independent organisation that gives people a voice to improve and shape services and help them get the best out of health and social care provisions. We are a provider of valued, required services that reflect the needs of the community whilst ensuring the needs of the communities within which we serve are represented. The Volunteer Hub utilizes the recruitment of volunteers, Interns and work placement students to support the work of all services.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Volunteer hub is actively responsible for the recruitment, support and development of current and new Volunteers, Interns and Placement students within all the services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

l Support Hub staff with interviewing and placement of volunteers, interns, and work placement students.
l Support in conducting induction for all applicants.
l Assist in attending volunteer engagement and fairs to promote the Hubs opportunities with a variety of Boroughs.
