SKILLS AND QUALITIES NEEDED

• A passion for retail and/or charity work
• Basic computer and internet skills (especially for Vinted/eBay)
• Good attention to detail and presentation
• Friendly, polite, and confident in dealing with the public
• Honest, reliable, and willing to learn
• Ability to follow safety and data protection guidelines

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To support the charity’s income-generating activities through both in-store and online retail channels. This role helps prepare donated items for sale, manage online listings, and provide excellent customer service in our charity shop. All proceeds support our mission to rebuild lives and communities in Eastern Europe.

4. SHOP ASSISTANT DUTIES

• Welcoming and assisting customers with a friendly attitude
• Operating the till, handling cash and card payments accurately
• Putting out new stock and rotating existing items to keep displays fresh
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised shop environment
