As the largest community-based animal welfare organization in the region, we care for more than 20,000 homeless pets and horses each year at our four facilities and are a national model in animal welfare. If you work well with people too, join our team and help us provide that voice. Purpose of Position: Provide project and administrative support to the Volunteer Services department. Responsibilities Provide general administrative support for the department Assist current and prospective volunteers as needed throughout the day while providing excellent customer service Track volunteer apparel inventory and place apparel orders as needed Prepare and track all volunteer key cards Support onboarding process for prospective volunteers Assist in interviewing prospective volunteers and assigning them to areas of interest Process and respond to prospective volunteer inquires via phone and email Assist with department monthly reporting Assist with data entry and database clean-up efforts Send volunteer separation letters and exit surveys Monitor volunteer Facebook group Assist with volunteer engagement efforts and events Resolve volunteer issues as they arise People Care People are the key to fulfilling our mission. Compensation: Starting at $20.80-$21.30 hourly (starting pay commensurate with market, experience, and equity) Schedule: This is a 30-hour per week position, worked across five 6.5-hour shifts.
