NextGen Soccer Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteer Assistant Soccer Coachesto join our team!
This is a volunteer position (unpaid), designed to give aspiring coaches valuable hands-on experience working with youth players in a supportive, structured, and fun environment.

We are a youth soccer club with two years of experience, operating across two locations:

  • North York – 6 weekly sessions
  • Aurora, Ontario – 2 weekly sessions

As a volunteer coach assistant, you’ll help run training sessions for kids and teens, support head coaches, and contribute to the development of young players both on and off the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist head coaches during training sessions.
  • Provide encouragement, guidance, and positive role modeling for players.
  • Help with warm-ups, drills, and skill development exercises.
  • Support game-day preparation and supervision.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all participants.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for soccer and youth development.
  • Reliability and commitment to scheduled sessions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous coaching or playing experience is an asset, but not required.
