Join our Teen Program Team and help create an awesome, supportive space where teens can grow, lead, and chase their goals. If you’re passionate, upbeat, and enjoy working with youth — this is the perfect opportunity for you! Flexible hours available Monday through Friday (one day or multiple – it’s up to you!) During the school year: Part-time between 2pm–8pm During the summer: Full-day options available 8am-4pm (occasional evening opportunities) What You’ll Do As a Teen Program Volunteer, you’ll help bring high-energy, meaningful programs to life — from leadership clubs and college/career prep to fun daily activities that keep teens engaged and growing. You’ll work with our program team to make the space welcoming, safe, and full of good vibes. Your impact will include: Helping create and run cool programs in areas like Academic Success, Leadership, College & Career Prep, and Healthy Habits Leading or supporting daily teen activities (think: teen nights, workshops, group projects, community connections) Encouraging teens to try new things and build confidence Keeping our teen space organized, safe, and fun Supporting staff with light supervision and activity planning What Else You Might Jump Into (Only if you’re up for it!) Helping with special events or theme nights Assisting with field trips Pitching in with light cleaning or organizing Requirements What You’ll Gain This volunteer experience gives you: Resume-boosting leadership & youth development skills Awesome teamwork experience Real, meaningful impact in your community Connections with other volunteers & professionals Opportunities to run programs that match your interests A fun, fulfilling place to spend your afternoons! You must be at least 18 years old. As part of our commitment to safety, a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and national background check will be conducted, which includes a review of the sex offender registry and verification of social security number. The process includes an interview, reference checks and 1.5 hours of online training.
Responsibilities
Volunteers will help create and run high-energy programs focused on academic success, leadership, college/career prep, and healthy habits for teens. This includes leading or supporting daily activities, encouraging teen confidence, and maintaining a safe and organized teen space.
