You’ll sit with residents, share conversation, create a relaxed atmosphere, and help make mealtimes feel safe and comforting. For residents who require full assistance with feeding, we provide all the training and support you need — all you bring is your caring nature and willingness to help. Requirements We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday for a few hours, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability. Ideally you’ll be available during the afternoon between 4-6pm Monday to Friday, we would be happy to discuss a suitable day of the week for your visit. 18 years or older • NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support to residents living with dementia during late afternoon and dinner mealtimes. Assist with feeding for residents who require full support and help create a calm, safe atmosphere.
