Ascendancy Partnership Trust (APT) is a newly formed multi-academy trust (MAT) with deep
community roots across the Berkshire area, composed of a family of SEN schools all
specialising in learning difficulties. Our mission is to provide the best possible education for
children and young people with additional and complex needs in both special and
mainstream schools.
We have exciting opportunities for volunteer Trustees to join our newly formed board. We
are seeking interest from volunteers with senior level generalist experience and also
volunteers with a background in HR, Finance, Estates or Marketing and Communications.
The Board of Trustees works with the Executive Leadership of the Trust ensuring that the
strategic direction, vision and ethos are compliant with its objectives as well as company and
charity law.
The time commitment for Trustees is approximately six to ten evening meetings per
academic year. These can be attended virtually.
