The first event is being held at Ferham Clinic 149 Kimberworth Road Rotherham S61 1AJ on Monday 24 February 2025, 10:00am - 12noon.
To register your interest, you can simply turn up, or email rdash.volunteers@nhs.net for more information marking in the subject Rotherham Volunteer Event .
All roles currently require face to face volunteering and are not suitable to be carried out remotely. It would be useful if you could submit your application via Trac before the event. If you have any difficulty in doing this, there will be an opportunity to apply at the event.
At the event you will have chance to meet the team and understand volunteering within Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber (RDaSH). Light refreshments will be available on the day. There will also be the opportunity in the afternoon to begin the paperwork necessary to start volunteering with the Trust, so do bring ID with you -see poster attached for what is required.
Why volunteer?
People volunteer with us for many reasons. Most often as a way of giving something back to their community, knowing that they have helped patients, their carers and family when they are feeling at their most vulnerable.
All out of pocket expenses will be covered as an active volunteer including opportunities in training and development.
If you are unable to attend either of the events and are still interested in volunteering, you can email rdash.volunteers@nhs.net and we can discuss what opportunities may be available for you.
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) employ around 3700 talented colleagues who are very much appreciated, valued, and respected.
We have a wide portfolio which includes mental health, physical health, learning disability and drug and alcohol services.
We are passionate about enhancing the quality of our service and we work hard to attract and select the right colleagues for our organisation. Our goal is to employ those who share our passion for providing first class care while remaining committed to our vision and values.
