Our Social Food Pantry (PSN’s version of a foodbank) provides essential food support to many people in our community every week. We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including preparing food parcels, stocking our kai-space, receiving deliveries, assisting with food rescue, and warmly welcoming members of our community. No two days are the same. If you have one morning a week to give, are organised, communicate well with people from diverse backgrounds, and have a genuine passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you. This is a rewarding opportunity to get involved in your local community and make a practical, meaningful difference in people’s lives. What you’ll need: · Organised and reliable · Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of people · Able to commit to one morning session per week for a minimum of 3 months · Physically fit · Aged 18 years or over Available shifts: · Monday: 9.30am – 1.00pm · Tuesday: 9.30am – 1.00pm · Wednesday: 9.30am – 1.00pm · Thursday: 9.30am – 1.00pm · Friday: 9.30am – 1.00pm For further details please email Louise.garbett@psn.org.nz
