Business Function
Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, collate and analyse requirements from business users and provide clear functional specifications for enhancements to ALM Risk Systems.
  • Perform impact analysis of enhancement requests on existing processes.
  • Design solutions that are sound, adequate and forward-looking to address ALM business requirements.
  • Plan, schedule and execute to deliverable objectives from initiation till successful implementation within agreed timelines.
  • Devise comprehensive test plans (including test scenarios and test cases) to validate IT deliverables.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, Simulation Testing and Live verifications to ensure system deliveries meet requirements objectives.
  • Formulate a Roadmap for ALM Risk Systems that continually address existing and potential business needs.
  • Provide functional support to business users and co-manage ALM Risk System production issues with technology partners.

Requirements

  • Degree in Banking, Financial Engineering, Computer Science or any other related quantitative discipline with about 5 to 8 years’ relevant experience in business analysis area
  • Experience in ALM Risk, including Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Risk, specifically LCR, NSFR, MCO, IRRBB is desirable.
  • Able to design and specify small to medium size applications in terms of its tables/configuration, compute processes and their interactions and connections.
  • Prior experience in implementing or managing an ALM Risk System would be an advantage
  • Prior business analysis experience of liaising between IT Teams and end users, and translating / documenting business requirements into documents that can be used by IT Teams for development of systems solutions
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI usage would be useful
  • Strong inter-personal, communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel
