Kindly Note: We are currently in a stage bidding for a Water Transmission project and are optimistic about being awarded the contract. In preparation, we have initiated the process of reviewing, shortlisting, and interviewing potential candidates to ensure readiness. Upon confirmation of the project being awarded, we will begin mobilizing the selected candidates to commence project execution.
Job Purpose The Program Risk Manager will oversee the Project Risk Management system. This is a PMC role, and there will be multiple Supervision Consultants and EPC`s appointed directly by the Client. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all risk management requirements on the large-scale water transmission projects in Abu Dhabi. This role involves risk identification, risk allocation and mitigation as well as strategic planning, and collaboration with various stakeholders to effectively manage and mitigate project risks. Development and implementation of a program wide lessons learned data base and communication to the wider project teams.The Credit Controller is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable and credit control activities, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, maintaining accurate customer accounts, and minimizing credit risk and overdue balances. This position is reporting to CFO and managing small receivable team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure invoices are issued accurately and on time.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Contact customers by email and telephone regarding overdue payments and payment commitments.
- Maintain an up-to-date Accounts Receivable Aging Report and closely monitor overdue balances.
- Prepare and follow up on daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets.
- Ensure rebate agreements/contracts are finalized in coordination with the Commercial Team, and accurately reconcile and allocate rebates on a monthly basis.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Allocate customer payments accurately and on a timely basis.
- Identify disputed invoices and coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other relevant departments to resolve disputes and coordinate with legal team for legal actions, if any.
- Escalate long-outstanding or high-risk accounts to management and recommend appropriate action.
- Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms and highlight potential credit risks.
- Support the review and approval of customer credit applications in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation of customer communications, payment commitments, disputes, and collection actions.
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding receivables, overdue accounts, collection performance, and credit exposure.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Support cash-flow forecasting by providing accurate information on expected customer collections and provide monthly collections targets to sales team.
- Ensure compliance with company credit control policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with external parties, auditors, and legal teams when required for collection-related matters.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers while ensuring effective and firm collection practices.
- Continuously review the credit control process and recommend improvements to strengthen collections and reduce overdue receivables.nalyse clients audited financial statements/bank statements/Rental Roll Reports/ Collateral details etc and assess clients credit history/credit reports/ system checks in line with the bank s lending standards.
- In depth analysis of borrower s financial ratios like profitability, solvency, cashflow, debt service coverage ratios etc in order to produce error free underwriting and ensuring that the borrower has sufficient repayment capacity to repay the proposed loan facilities.
- Review & analyse valuation reports of the underlying properties in the context of prevalent market conditions.
- To work out the credit risk rating and check RAROC of the customer as per the bank s portals.
- Ensure completeness & accuracy of documentation submitted with the credit request in order to avoid fraud and/or delinquency in the future.
- Ensure compliance to the bank s credit underwriting policies and address any exceptions to the policy.
- Perform portfolio management activities in terms of pastdue monitoring, breach of covenants, stress testing etc.
- To review the excess rental release request of the clients taking into account the available and expected rental cashflows.
- To work in co-ordination with other stakeholders such as Business Units, Credit Administration, Collections, Operations etc to streamline any issues affecting the credit facilities.
- Review/Approve deferral or waiver requests by the customers in the context of credit risks involved.
- Ensure that all loan applications and service requests are dealt with efficiently within the agreed SLAs.
- Ensure completion and maintenance of the required departmental MIS as required on ongoing basis.
- Ensure that all the approved loans and proposal related documents are complete and stored in the common folder/system to safeguard any missing or misplaced documents.
- To be able to work in pressure conditions without compromising on the credit underwriting quality.
- To perform any additional Job-Related tasks/projects as and when assigned by Line Manager.
