Job Description
iA American Warranty Group is seeking a visionary Vice President of Data Strategy to lead our transformation into a digital-forward organization delivering integrated premium risk solutions. This executive will head the Decision Science team, driving enterprise-wide initiatives in business intelligence automation, predictive analytics, and data monetization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a data strategy aligned with digital transformation and growth goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to unlock data-driven innovation and monetization opportunities.
  • Decision Science Oversight: Lead the deployment of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and BI tools to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with actuarial, underwriting, claims, IT, and product teams to optimize data use across core functions.
  • Analytics & BI: Champion the use of platforms like Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Sense to deliver real-time insights and support strategic initiatives.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data quality, compliance, and ethical use through robust governance frameworks.
  • Innovation & Automation: Integrate AI and automation into workflows and explore strategic data partnerships.
  • Customer Intelligence: Build personalized customer experiences using behavioral and telematics data.
  • Talent Development: Promote data literacy and mentor analytics talent across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or Business Administration; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • Actuarial credentials (ASA, FSA).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data strategy or analytics, ideally within specialty insurance or automotive sectors.
  • Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Sense.
