The Quantitative Strategies and Data Group (QSDG) is seeking for a Hong Kong based role covering the Prime Financing business. Primarily focusing on tools, analysis, pricing, optimization, risk, workflow and P&L; the role requires strong technical skills and an ability to work directly with trading, in a fast paced environment, to help deliver on the strategic objectives for the equity business. Strong communication skills and an ability to work both individually and part of a team is a must. In this role you will: Develop understanding of the Prime Financing Business covering physical prime brokerage, equity swaps and stock loan. Gain experience working directly with trading desks providing analytics covering pricing, profitability, risk and execution. Enhance existing inventory management models and infrastructure. Develop P&L, client profitability, regulatory capital and other analytical tools for the trading desk. Required Skills: Bachelors/Masters/PhD in technical discipline (Computer Science/Applied Mathematics/Physics/Engineering/Statistics) Strong programming, analytical and data skills. Familiarity with data structures Familiarity with object oriented and functional programming (Python preferred) Working knowledge of relational/column-based databases Excellent writing and verbal communication skills – able to present complex material in a simple manner Experience working in a front-office role is beneficial Knowledge of and experience working with prime brokerage/derivatives/financing products is helpful Experience with portfolio optimization and factor risk models a plus Experience with machine learning techniques a plus At Bank of America, we are guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection.
