Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Director of Finance for our client in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role is ideal for a finance professional with deep expertise in accounting, forecasting, and business analytics. The Director of Finance will play a key role in shaping the financial health and strategic direction of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support business objectives.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior leadership.
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases and optimize resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in a high-growth or dynamic industry.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in financial processes.
