Description:
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing the bank’s strategic marketing plan consistent with the strategic direction of the bank outlined by executive management. The Director of Marketing will lead the bank’s marketing strategy and brand positioning to drive growth and engagement. This role will oversee the Marketing department and plays a key role in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns. This opportunity will be onsite at one of our main office locations with expected travel to CBI Bank & Trust headquarters in Muscatine, IA at least weekly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience; or Masters degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the financial services industry at institutions with assets of $1 billion or more.
  • Proven track record of successful brand development, integrated marketing campaigns, and community engagement.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, tools, and analytics.
  • Strong business acumen including a broad understanding of financial services business processes and practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience with graphic design software preferred
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an Annual Marketing Plan. This includes coordinating brand management in all our markets and help to set the strategic direction of the marketing of our products and services.
  • Design and oversee the organization’s marketing strategy and operations, including digital marketing, website management, social media, campaign management, marketing automation, reporting and analytics, and process optimization.
  • Content development, design, and distribution for all marketing and brand awareness.
  • Optimize the bank’s online presence, including social media advertising and company websites, to enhance community engagement and lead generation.
  • Manage internal and external public relations through communications with the branches, departments, board, news media and the public utilizing various communication channels including direct mail, traditional media, social media, email marketing, and other electronic and digital formats.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to develop targeted marketing programs that support business growth initiatives.
  • Set clear marketing goals and KPIs, tracking campaign success using analytics and reporting tools.
  • Maintain a marketing compliance file system.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure the optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
  • Oversee external vendors to produce high-quality marketing products.
  • Monitor digital trends and emerging technologies to reach new audiences.
