Responsibilites Authorising and/or checking of Trade Finance Letter of Credit (LC) Advising / Confirmation transactions Review swift and mail LC for authenticity and LC workability issue. Identify discrepancies, highlight irregularities and red flag items during processing / authorising Involve in discussion with internal stakeholders any system changes or process changes. Implement effective operational processes and procedures. Monitor and perform controls on investigation and follow up on ad-hoc matters. Responsible for identifying and making right decisions to resolve operational issues and ensure timely escalation. Support to achieve dept SCM savings and implementation of new system. Lead and supervise a team of Trade finance LC advising team in terms of resource management, training and daily BAU challenges, if any. Ensure SOPs and existing / new controls are in place and adhere to by operating teams. Strategic planning on team resources for optimal and operational efficiency. Work with and supervise team members to achieve daily tasks assigned. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, external clients and internal stakeholders Elevate individual performance. Regular huddle with team to improve quality, productivity and efficiency Requirements Degree or related Diploma with CDCS Certification would be an advantage. Minimum 8 years of relevant Trade Finance Processing relevant experience, and strong understanding of UCP rules, ISP 98 rules, Anti-Money Laundering Guidelines, and Terrorist Financing and Sanction Regulations. Hard-working, self-motivated and a strong team player. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Meticulous and detailed oriented. Capable to work effectively under pressure and tight deadline. Familiar with MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, Words. Ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
