We are looking to hire a VP, Enterprise Architecture to join the team based at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This position will be eligible to participate in McCormick’s hybrid work program (50% onsite, 50% remote per month).

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization’s technology landscape. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy that aligns with our business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology trends and a proven track record of delivering innovative yet practical business solutions and an applied enterprise architecture approach focused on sustainably enabling business outcomes at scale

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 20 years IT experience with at least 15 years experience in the area of enterprise architecture or senior solution architecture and implementing business systems and technology
• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Business field or additional 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Highly competent in one or more Enterprise Architecture disciplines with good knowledge of other EA domains.
• Demonstrated expertise in product/application security architecture – Service oriented architecture (SOA), Network security, application security, web services, Development platforms as well as integration platforms and development approach.
• Ability to interpret business strategies into technology solutions.
• Previous experience with continuous, technology tools, and programming languages such as Java, C#, etc…
• Good operating systems knowledge – Windows, Linux, Unix.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Data platforms and Data management and governance. (Data Lakes, Data Lakehouses, Data warehouse).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Data ingestion platforms.
• Ability to understand how to apply AI concepts for value realization within the enterprise.
• Previous experience in Cloud technologies and platforms (Azure, GCPP, AWS, OCI, …)
• Previous experience with one or more Architecture modeling platforms.
• Good knowledge of major ERP’s (preferably SAP) as well as other enterprise systems.
• Ability to determine approach of buy vs build concepts.
• Experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
  Base Salary: $200,280-360,470

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
