The role reports directly to the Global Chief Digital and Information officer and carries the following core responsibilities.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Business Capability Mapping Sessions: Facilitate workshops with business unit leaders to identify, document, and prioritise their key business capabilities. This involves understanding how Oracle solutions can enable and enhance these capabilities, focusing on the value delivered rather than the technical implementation details. The outcome would be a clear linkage between business needs and Oracle’s potential.
  • Consult on Oracle-Enabled Business Transformation: Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing guidance on how Oracle technologies can support their digital transformation initiatives. This includes presenting industry best practices, showcasing successful case studies, and helping them envision the future state of their operations with Oracle. • Build Relationships with Key Business Stakeholders: Proactively engage with C-level executives and other senior leaders to understand their strategic priorities and challenges. This involves attending business unit meetings, participating in strategic planning sessions, and establishing ongoing communication channels to stay informed about evolving business needs. This is the foundation for effective collaboration.
  • Communicate the Value of Oracle Investments: Develop compelling presentations and reports that articulate the business value and ROI of Oracle solutions to executive leadership. This includes quantifying the benefits achieved, such as cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue growth, and demonstrating how Oracle contributes to the overall business strategy. This is about demonstrating impact and securing continued support.
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Alignment on Oracle Strategy: Organise and lead meetings with representatives from different business units to ensure alignment on the overall Oracle strategy and roadmap.
