    Title: VP, Enterprise Portfolio Strategy & Delivery   Location: Remote or Hybrid (Cleveland, Ohio)   Reports to: CEO   Job Description:  This position will report to the CEO, Michael Iskra, and partner closely with the Executive (ELT) and Senior Leadership Teams (SLT).  The VP, Enterprise Portfolio Strategy & Delivery serves as the enterprise integrator between strategy, investment decisions, and execution and will translate corporate strategy into a prioritized enterprise and product portfolio, establish disciplined lifecycle and program governance, and selectively lead hands‑on delivery for high‑impact initiatives and launches.  This role will also lead through influence rather than operational line authority, aligning R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Commercial teams through clear decision rights, governance forums, and data‑driven execution.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Translate corporate strategy into a prioritized enterprise and product portfolio with clear owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes.   * Lead long range planning, annual operating planning, and rolling portfolio prioritization.   * Balance near term commercial launches with pipeline investments and enterprise capacity constraints.   * Facilitate executive tradeoff decisions across product, clinical, regulatory, and operational initiatives.   * Own integrated product portfolio strategy and rolling roadmaps across development, regulatory, and commercialization phases.   * Ensure alignment between product strategy, resource allocation, and enterprise priorities.   * Partner with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial leaders to maintain portfolio focus and sequencing discipline.   * Stand up or mature a PMO that provides program sponsorship, portfolio prioritization, risk management, and consistent reporting.  * Create repeatable program delivery playbooks, templates, and operating rhythms that scale across product teams.  * Own PLM governance including stage‑gate criteria, launch readiness, post‑market lifecycle decisions, and PLM tool adoption.  * Ensure transitions across concept, development, verification, validation, regulatory submission, and commercialization are auditable and timely.  * Design and scale cross‑functional processes for program intake, resource prioritization, decision gates, and change control to reduce handoffs and rework.  * Lead governance forums such as product councils, steering committees, and launch readiness reviews.  * Personally sponsor and lead high‑priority initiatives and product launches; act as program sponsor when required.  * Model structured planning, communication, and accountability while coaching functional leads to replicate the approach.  * Build trust and alignment across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Commercial teams using stakeholder mapping, executive briefings, and data‑driven narratives by securing commitments and removing barriers without relying on direct authority; mentor leaders to lead similarly.  * Embed metrics, dashboards, and operating cadences that make progress visible and predictable.  * Hire, mentor, and develop program management talent and PLM stewards.  * Perform all other duties as assigned    Qualifications/Requirements * Required • 12+ years in diagnostics, IVD, med‑tech, or regulated life sciences with progressive cross‑functional leadership. • Proven track record as a program sponsor or integrator for enterprise programs and product launches across R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Commercial. • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence with concrete examples of aligning senior stakeholders and securing cross‑functional commitments without direct authority. • Deep familiarity with PLM, stage‑gate processes, and program governance. • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Preferred • Experience at commercial‑stage diagnostics companies during scale‑up. • Experience building or maturing a PMO and driving PLM tool adoption. • Advanced degree such as MBA, MS, or technical discipline.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USED: * Offices reachable by elevator but should be able to climb stairs in case elevator out * General office noise and HVAC * Ability to operate a computer and other technology-related lab equipment throughout course of day * May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, biohazards, etc. * Travel domestically up to 25% ------------------------------------------------------   Cleveland Diagnostics, Inc., is developing highly efficacious, lab-friendly, affordable diagnostics tests using proprietary technology to improve cancer diagnostics.   We pride ourselves in fostering a family-focused, friendly, and flexible organization that places our employee’s well-being and happiness as the primary reason for our success.
