POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re seeking a visionary VP Finance to join our leadership team. This senior executive will play a pivotal role in steering our financial strategy and ensuring the long-term financial health of the Credit Union. If you are a strategic thinker with a knack for numbers and a passion for community-focused banking, we want to hear from you.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of related experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Proven experience in strategic financial planning and analysis.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Provide overall direction control, and planning for finance, accounting, tax, audit, budget, and asset liability management functions of the Credit Union
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the Credit Union’s goals.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other management team members to drive organizational growth.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
