We are committed to delivering exceptional results to our investors by managing a diverse portfolio of investments with a focus on excellence and innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Fund Finance with a strong background in valuations to join our team.
You’ll play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations, valuations, and reporting for the firm’s various funds. This role requires deep expertise in fund finance, an in-depth understanding of valuation methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. The ideal candidate will bring both technical knowledge and strategic insights to support the firm’s financial objectives and ensure compliance with industry standards.
The role requires a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.

About the Role

  • Lead and manage valuations for real estate-backed investments, equity, debt, and non-performing loans.
  • Develop and maintain valuation models using market, income, and cost approaches.
  • Collaborate with investment teams, third-party firms, and auditors to ensure consistent valuation methodologies.
  • Review assumptions, perform scenario analyses, and assess impacts on fund performance.
  • Monitor fund metrics (IRR, NAV, distribution waterfalls) and present reports to senior management and investors.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPEV), regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support investor relations with timely valuation data and responses to inquiries.
  • Advise executives on financial planning, scenario modeling, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Provide insights on valuation changes and their impact on investment strategy.

Required skills and experience

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics/valuations within the investment management industry, preferably in real estate.
  • Strong expertise in valuation methodologies and experience working with complex financial models.
  • Deep understanding of fund structures, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software, valuation tools, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
