Job Title: Head of Card & Credit Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall IT strategy and execution for credit card and credit business lines, aligning technology initiatives with business goals. Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of credit card processing systems, credit risk management tools, and related IT infrastructure. Collaborate closely with credit risk, compliance, fraud prevention, and business teams to ensure technology solutions meet operational and regulatory requirements. Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies such as AI, machine learning, and data analytics to improve credit decisioning and customer experience. Oversee vendor management, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring of third-party IT service providers. Ensure robust cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols are in place for credit card and credit IT systems. Manage budgets, project timelines, and resource allocation effectively. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to keep the organization ahead in credit IT capabilities. Report regularly to senior management on IT performance, risks, and opportunities within the credit domain. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT leadership roles within the banking, financial services, or fintech sectors, with a focus on credit card and credit systems. Strong knowledge of credit card processing platforms, credit risk management systems, and lending technologies. Experience with digital transformation projects, including cloud migration, automation, and data analytics. Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to credit and payments (e.g., PCI DSS, & local financial regulations). Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex IT projects. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking. Preferred Skills: Experience with core banking systems integration. Knowledge of AI/ML applications in credit risk and fraud detection. Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices. Project management certification (PMP, Agile, Scrum) is an advantage. Tokenization strategies to replace sensitive card data with secure tokens. Integration and support of mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay 3D Secure (3DS) protocols for enhanced cardholder authentication What we offer: Competitive base salary.
