Our team-oriented, customer-focused corporate culture prioritizes building strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships with customers and our team members. Biomerics is seeking a VP of Information Technology & Information Systems (IT/IS) to play a central role in shaping how technology supports growth, operational excellence, and scalability across a multi-site manufacturing business. This is an onsite leadership role based at the Salt Lake City headquarters, with close, in-person engagement expected across the organization. This role is intended for a leader who blends strategic thinking with practical execution, and who sees technology as a business enabler rather than a standalone function. The VP, IT/IS will operate as a trusted partner to the Executive Leadership Team and operating leaders, aligning systems, data, and infrastructure with commercial and operational priorities. While strong technical judgement remains essential, the emphasis is on translating business needs into reliable, secure, and scalable technology outcomes through strong leadership, governance, and collaboration. Requirements Company is looking for someone who is driven, takes initiative, and is always thinking of creative ways to improve the services we provide to our family of businesses. Demonstrated record of measurable success in prior leadership roles, showing clear impact on business performance, operational effectiveness, and system reliability within complex organizations. Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing environments (required). Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline. 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT/IS operations, including internal and B2B support models. Strong background in software development methodologies across production, development, and test environments. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while delivering results on schedule. Experience with IT/IS vendor management, contract negotiation, and service oversight. Track record of building and scaling enterprise systems in high-growth organizations. Strong leadership presence with the ability to collaborate and influence from frontline teams through executive leadership. Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Clear, effective communication skills with the ability to build trusted internal and external partnerships. Willingness to travel as required to support distributed teams and operations.
