JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a top-tier sell-side financial institution providing cutting-edge electronic trading solutions for institutional clients, hedge funds, and asset managers. As they expand their footprint in electronic execution, algorithmic trading, and liquidity solutions, they are now seeking a VP, Institutional Sales (Sell-Side) to strengthen regional insititional client relationships and drive revenue growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in electronic trading, sales trading, or relationship management at a sell-side firm.
  • Strong understanding of algorithmic trading, market microstructure, execution strategies, and trading technology.
  • Experience working with equities, FX, futures, or fixed income electronic trading platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage institutional client relationships and drive trading volume growth.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in trading platforms (Bloomberg EMSX, Fidessa, Charles River, or FIX protocol) is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for institutional clients, hedge funds, asset managers, and proprietary trading firms.
  • Develop and execute client engagement strategies to increase electronic trading volumes and deepen partnerships.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with clients, offering insights on market trends, execution strategies, and liquidity solutions.
  • Reponsible for sharing Electronic Trading Solutions & Execution Advisory
  • Advise clients on execution algorithms, smart order routing, and low-latency trading solutions.
  • Provide pre-trade and post-trade analysis to optimize client execution strategies.
  • Stay updated on market microstructure, regulatory changes, and trading venue dynamics to offer strategic guidance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and onboard new clients to the firm’s electronic trading platform.
  • Collaborate with sales, quant research, and trading technology teams to tailor solutions for client needs.Work closely with the liquidity and execution teams to ensure superior client service.
