Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of audit assignments and deliver them within agreed timelines and resource plans.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and the Chief Auditor to ensure thorough risk coverage, aligning audit focus with key operational areas.
  • Develop and execute customised audit strategies that reflect actual business processes and identified risk exposures.
  • Gather and evaluate supporting documentation to assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and risk mitigation measures.
  • Design and implement fit-for-purpose audit tests to drive quality and insight during reviews, while continuously improving audit techniques.
  • Ensure all audit work aligns with the organisation’s risk-based audit framework.
  • Draft clear and concise audit reports highlighting key findings, residual risks, and practical action steps for management review and feedback.
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders to present audit outcomes and discuss proposed improvements.
  • Track and follow up on agreed remediation steps to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Stay current with professional development through certifications and ongoing training.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects or assignments initiated by headquarters or local leadership, in line with the group’s internal audit governance framework.
