VP, NATIONAL ACCOUNTS - CFD (REMOTE)

**Remote position with at least 50% travel. Preferred locations for this role include Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The VP of National Accounts Convenience, Food & Drug will report directly to the SVP of Retail Sales and oversee a team of three direct reports. This person will be responsible for sales, profits and growth targets for Highline-Warren distributed and manufactured products sold primarily to the CFD Segment.
The ideal candidate should have experience as it relates to strategic planning, sales data analytics, new business development and building relationships with the wholesale distributors and retailers in the CFD segment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a highly visible, selling role, with a consumer products company
  • Ability to identify, understand and communicate customer needs, market trends & buying strategies to Highline Warren leadership
  • Ability to cut through status quo and build rapid responses to extremely dynamic situations and win
  • Prior Product marketing/management or retail sales experience
  • Passion for managing complex commercial relationships within matrixed organization
  • High-level of flexibility and commitment, proven analytical capabilities and project management skills
  • BS in Marketing, Management, Finance or Business Administration from an accredited university or college
  • Experience with all levels of the selling to larger and complex customers and working with detailed project plans
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with category/product management, marketing, and supply chain to develop and execute a collaborative business plan that delivers increased sales volume and profit
  • Player/Coach role managing salespeople and have key account responsibility
  • Lead strategic sales planning across multiple customers, categories and product lines
  • Create and analyze annual advertising and promotional sales plans
  • Establish sales forecasts, goals and budgets for the CFD Segment Team
  • Maintain a current team opportunities list and follow-up on all inquiries and leads through Monday.com
  • Weekly reporting on sales results and new business opportunities
  • Prospect for new businesses to increase sales and market share
  • Develop strong relationships with all key contacts
