Join Us The VP of Analytics-Market Access/HEOR will oversee claims analytics and research studies across a portfolio of pharmaceutical manufacturer clients, serving as a senior leader responsible for driving client impact, revenue growth, and analytic excellence. We are seeking a seasoned market access analytics leader who combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision, strong client leadership, and a proven ability to originate and grow business. In this role, you will lead and expand a portfolio of high-impact analytic engagements that inform pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies for a portfolio of life science clients (pharma/diagnostics/devices). You will leverage deep expertise in U.S. healthcare data analytics including Medicare and commercial claims data and external real-world data sources to translate complex analyses into actionable insights that directly support commercialization decisions. As an executive leader, you will own and drive business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, shaping client solutions, leading proposals, and expanding relationships with existing and prospective clients. Working closely with cross-functional leaders across market access strategy, evidence generation, and policy, you will set analytic direction, oversee execution, and ensure deliverables align with client objectives. Duties and Responsibilities • Drive revenue growth by building and expanding a portfolio of new and existing life science clients, with accountability for meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Lead and oversee a diverse portfolio of analytic engagements, ensuring scientific excellence, client impact, and strong financial performance. • Provide executive leadership to cross-functional teams, guiding statements of work, analytical execution, interpretation of results, and development of strategic recommendations. • Serve as a senior HEOR subject matter expert and thought leader, contributing to publications, conference presentations, client-facing insights, and firm-wide thought leadership. • Build, develop, and scale high-performing teams, mentoring direct reports and expanding capabilities to support both delivery excellence and commercial growth. • Partner closely with clients to design and implement strategic and tactical solutions addressing complex evidence generation and market access needs. • Maintain accountability for project delivery and final outputs, ensuring methodological rigor, quality, timelines, and financial outcomes. • Resolve complex client and project challenges, applying sound judgment and leadership to deliver timely, effective solutions. • Contribute to the overall growth and success of company, supporting operational initiatives, compliance standards, and the firm’s long-term strategic objectives. Requirements · Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or other related discipline. · Expert level SAS programming skills. · Experience working with data offered in the CMS’ Chronic Condition Warehouse. · Experience working in the Virtual Research Data Center (VRDC) offered by CCW. · Experience working with data in Medicare Standard Analytic Files (SAF), Research Identifiable Files (RIF), or Medicaid T-MSIS data. · 15+ years of progressive experience in HEOR, RWE, & market access within the pharmaceutical industry, with 5+ years in a consulting environment as a Consultant and Engagement Leader. · Demonstrated success in new business development, including originating and closing consulting engagements, and expanding business within existing accounts. · Strong client presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. · Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Location Candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for those operating in the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone. Candidates based in Washington, DC or Austin, TX, will have the option of hybrid work arrangements. Compensation and Benefits We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At ADVI, we are committed to equitable pay practices and increased transparency in our compensation programs. The good-faith estimated base salary range for this position is $176,000– $263,000 annually. This range reflects ADVI’s current expectations for the role. Actual compensation may vary and will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, job related skills, experience, education, internal equity, and market considerations. The base salary range does not include bonuses, potential commission or other incentive compensation, which may be available as part of the total rewards package. Additional details regarding compensation philosophy and benefits will be shared by the recruiter during the interview process.
