About the Role: As Vice President of Business Development, you’ll be a strategic growth leader — building meaningful relationships, earning trust with owners and partners, and positioning Redstone as the operator of choice across student housing and multifamily markets. You’ll own the full growth lifecycle: identifying opportunities, guiding conversations, leading proposals, closing new management agreements, and ensuring a seamless handoff into operations. Just as important, you’ll help shape Redstone’s reputation in the industry through credibility, consistency, and care. What You’ll Do: Drive Strategic Growth: Partner with the Executive Team to define and execute Redstone’s third-party growth strategy Identify, pursue, and secure new management opportunities with owners, developers, universities, and institutional partners Build and maintain a healthy, forward-looking business development pipeline, tracking key opportunities and conversion metrics. Lead the Deal Process: Guide RFQ/RFP responses, proposal development, and client presentations Negotiate management agreements that align with Redstone’s financial goals and long-term vision Own the closing process and support a smooth transition into onboarding Build Trusted Relationships: Serve as a primary relationship owner for prospective and newly onboarded clients Build and sustain strong industry relationships attending conferences, networking, and targeted outreach. Location & Travel: This role is based in a standard office environment with 50-75% travel for client meetings, site/ market visits, and industry conferences.
