Description
We are seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead Fairmatic’s financial strategy and operations. This executive will play a critical role in ensuring financial discipline, supporting growth, and providing insights that guide strategic decision-making. Responsibilities Lead all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the company. Partner with the executive team to develop and execute Fairmatic’s long-term financial strategy. Build and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking processes. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal controls. Oversee accounting operations, treasury, tax, and audit processes. Manage relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and external advisors. Provide financial insights to guide pricing, underwriting, and product decisions in collaboration with business leaders. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enable data-driven decision making across the organization. Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA/CFA strongly preferred. 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role. Strong background in insurance, financial services, or high-growth technology/insurtech companies. Proven track record of building scalable finance operations in a dynamic environment. Deep understanding of financial modeling, capital planning, and investor relations. Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence at all levels. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow high-performing teams. Startup or insurtech experience a plus. Location: Remote.
