The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the company’s overall business plan and strategic direction. This role oversees all HR functions- including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance and organizational development-while fostering a culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives. Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to deliver exceptional service to all employees. Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent across manufacturing and corporate roles. Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching and annual reviews. Design and administer competitive compensation and benefit programs that support business goals and employee satisfaction. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, FMLA, EEO, wage & hour) Lead employee relation efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action. Develop and implement training and leadership development programs. Partner with operations leadership to enhance safety, productivity, and workforce engagement. Support organizational change initiatives and continuous improvement in culture. Manage environmental issues such as dust system, gas pumps, and air permits. Supervise and coordinate safety department operations. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred. 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR management role. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is strongly preferred. Proven success developing HR systems, processes, and teams in a mid-sized company. Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and best HR practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic mindset with hands-on, practical approach.
