KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred in Business or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in higher education, particularly in marketing for academic programs, continuing education, or university partnerships.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership, preferably within growth-focused organizations.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven executive-level leadership with the ability to influence and inspire diverse audiences (customers, internal teams, C-suite, academic partners, etc.).
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Passion for customer success and leveraging technology to enhance the customer experience.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, or comparable marketing technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading go-to-market product launches with clear performance metrics.
  • A hands-on, results-oriented mindset with a proactive, solution-driven attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and dashboards to inform decision-making.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and multiple priorities.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to lead independently and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Brand Leadership: Define and deliver EIM’s brand vision, ensuring consistent adoption across all channels and measurable impact on awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
  • Growth Strategy: Lead demand generation and go-to-market initiatives, aligning marketing programs with revenue objectives, product launches, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Digital and Content Excellence: Oversee SEO/SEM, paid campaigns, website content, email automation, and performance analytics, leveraging marketing technology to deliver personalized and scalable solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with business development, operations, sales, and finance to align targeting strategies, maximize ROI, and accelerate divisional growth.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure quality, efficiency, outcomes, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing organization, fostering talent development, collaboration, and a culture of excellence.
  • Market Insight and Innovation: Lead market research, competitive intelligence, and trend analysis to support strategic forecasting, inform product positioning, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Event and Engagement Strategy: Plan and execute customer, prospect, and industry engagement initiatives, including hybrid and in-person events that strengthen relationships and brand presence.
  • Analytics and ROI: Evolve and enhance reporting capabilities to measure ROI, inform strategic decisions, and demonstrate tangible business impact.
  • Strategic Influence: Communicate marketing performance, outlook, and strategic insights as a subject matter expert to prospective and current partners. Present and communicate marketing strategy to the executive team and board, providing actionable insights and influencing key organizational decisions.
