Description The La La Land Vice President, Procurement oversees the procurement, inventory, and supply chain activities, approving vendors, understanding top areas of spend and formulating strategies to manage operations for food and beverage (F&B), consumables, and facilities services across the organization. This leadership role ensures utilization of procurement programs, timely sourcing/purchasing, cost control, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring deep sourcing and supply chain expertise, strong leadership, and a collaborative mindset to transform procurement into a strategic partner Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the continued development and enhancement of the company's procurement and inventory management systems. Build and lead a high-performing operations procurement organization made up of regional purchasing, facilities sourcing, and systems administration. Partner with business unit leaders and venues to understand demand, align sourcing strategies, and maximize total value. Drive utilization of procurement programs, operationalize category management and sourcing strategies aligned with corporate goals, ESG priorities, and operational needs. Mentor venue-level purchasing leaders and internal procurement staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation. Develop standardized processes and documentation for purchasing inventory management. Provide guidance, tools, and oversight to unit leaders for day-to-day purchasing activities. Ensure adherence to corporate standards, approved procurement programs, and compliance requirements. Act as an escalation point for complex purchasing issues and vendor negotiations, Lead contract negotiations and supplier selection in collaboration with business stakeholders and legal. Monitor supplier performance, including cost, service, quality, and compliance. Develop supplier improvement initiatives. Define KPls for procurement and inventory performance, including order accuracy, waste reduction, and compliance. Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to align purchasing with menu, planning, and seasonal demand. Oversee enterprise-wide inventory processes for F&B ensuring accurate forecasting and stock control. Drive automation and integration between purveyors, procurement, inventory, point of sale, and financial systems for real-time visibility. Provide input in development of procurement technology and reporting capabilities that enable delivery of category strategies and business goals. Requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 1O+ years of experience with procurement, supply chain, inventory management, or purchasing. Experience leading sourcing and procurement across multiple spend categories, with particular emphasis on F&B. Deep negotiation and contract management skills. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Experience with procurement and inventory management platforms. Experience with supplier diversity, ESG initiatives, and procurement-driven innovation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. MBA is preferred. 5 or more years of relevant experience required in the food and beverage industry. Experience making data-driven decisions. Experience with change leadership. Influential and strategic thinking. A strong leader with commercial and operational acumen. Strong understanding of logistics, compliance, and supply-demand planning.
