The VP of Quality and Clinical Services position is a critical role with overall accountability for the quality and effectiveness of clinical services across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Current registration as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
· Must have a minimum of ten (10) years’ working experience in a senior management position and work experience in a leadership capacity within the long-term care sector.
· Must posses a strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities, collaborator, and team builder.
· Must posses excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Sound knowledge of the Fixing Long-Term Care Homes Act 2021, Ontario Regulations 246/10.
· Strong relationship building abilities and analytical skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Point Click Care and other computerized documentation systems.
· All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector check.
· Have a passion to promote person-centered care and work with the senior population.
