VP OF SALES AND MARKETING

RoomReady is expanding our Revenue Creation team in the Bloomington, IL area. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading and managing the sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets and grow the company’s market presence. This role requires a results driven individual with proven success in both Enterprise and Channel sales. The VP of Sales and Marketing will develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, manage key client relationships, and ensure the teams meet their goals.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

As a VP of Sales and Marketing, the ideal candidate will need:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales and marketing leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude and desire to learn and use new technologies as they are introduced to the company.
  • Must be able to work independently and make management decisions within the scope of policies, procedures and budgets of the Company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ year(s) of experience in marketing or sales leadership.
  • Experience managing teams of 5 or more.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Accountable to sales and marketing performance with monthly and quarterly performance reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to recommend product innovations and improvements.
  • Lead and manage Enterprise and Channel sales teams in addition to Sales Support & Marketing team.
  • Ensures sales and marketing teams are aligned in strategy for growth, retention, and sales enablement.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans and initiatives.
  • Leads the team in maintaining CRM and pipeline activities with precision and consistency, while offering strategic sales guidance to representatives to advance deals through the sales funnel.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and track progress against targets, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership at key clients and partners.
