Role: VP of Sales
Experience: 8- 10 years

EDMO is looking for an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our sales division and drive strategic growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll be responsible for scaling our business by expanding our market reach, forging key partnerships with higher education institutions, and leading a high-performing sales team. If you have a proven track record of building and executing successful sales strategies, a deep understanding of the higher education landscape, and a passion for leading teams to exceed targets, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Market Expansion & Strategy: Conduct strategic market research to identify and capitalize on new global opportunities within higher education. You will be responsible for developing and leading all market expansion efforts.
- Revenue Leadership: Develop, implement, and refine high-impact sales strategies to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets. You will be a hands-on leader, driving pipeline development and ensuring the team is aligned with organizational objectives.
- Institutional Partnerships: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with universities and other institutions. You will be adept at understanding both explicit and latent needs to deliver tailored solutions that create long-term value.
- CAC Reduction & ROI: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and client success, to streamline customer acquisition efforts. You will be focused on strategically lowering our Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and increasing the probability of new enrollments.
- Sales Team Leadership: Mentor, manage, and empower a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for fostering a culture that is driven by targets and deeply committed to the success of our educational clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leaders across marketing, product, and client success to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy, efficient project delivery, and optimal product positioning.
- Process Optimization & Forecasting: Enhance sales operations by optimizing lead generation, CRM usage, and reporting. You will provide regular, data-driven performance updates and forecasts to executive leadership.
- Brand Representation: Represent EDMO at industry conferences, trade shows, and other key events to build brand awareness and expand our institutional outreach
Skills and Qualification
- 8+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in the edtech, SaaS, or higher education sectors.
- Proven track record of institutional sales, enterprise account management, and team building.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), pipeline forecasting, and B2B sales funnels
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable representing the company at industry events and public speaking engagements.
- Prior experience working in or with AI-driven education products is a strong plus.
