OVERVIEW:

The Vice President of Telecom Construction is an executive leader responsible for the strategic direction, execution, and performance of all telecom infrastructure construction projects across the organization. This role oversees field operations, ensures alignment with company goals, and drives operational excellence. The VP collaborates closely with senior leadership and cross-functional departments to enable growth, customer success, and innovation at scale. Responsible for the operations of our OSP fiber construction team and oversees our Construction operations, team development, and process optimization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field to the industry
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in telecom field operations and construction, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive leadership role
• Proven track record of managing multi-region construction programs
• Strong understanding of OSP FTTH telecom infrastructure, deployment and operations - including both underground and aerial construction methods
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial oversight, and organizational leadership
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and executive decision-making skills
• Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience managing field leadership, teams, subcontractors, and budgets across multiple regions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong experience with advanced telecom technologies and innovations, construction scheduling systems
• Advanced degree in a related field
• Experience implementing or scaling digital tools and construction management platforms in construction environments (Vitruvi preferred)
• MS Office 365
• Task Management software experience (Wrike preferred)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-accountability, growth-stage environment
