SUMMARY:

The VP, Operations, Global Credit Management & Treasury is a key leadership role responsible for supporting back-office credit operations globally, including aggregation and reporting of key credit metrics and information, ensuring data quality, completeness, and maintaining, refining, and implementing adequate process controls, the custody and care of both incoming and outgoing collateral, and associated general accounting and account reconciliations. Critical factors to success include strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, ownership and accountability, strong organizational skills, track record for delivering desired outcomes within prescribed timeframes, willingness and desire to learn and develop, flexibility, and ability to thrive in fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Aggregation and reporting of various key credit metrics and information on a scheduled and ad hoc basis.
  • Care, custody, and control of incoming collateral instruments and associated documentation, including Letters of Credit, Trusts/Security & Pledge, Surety Bonds, and Cash balances.
  • Performing journal entries, reconciliations and analysis associated with incoming and outgoing collateral.
  • Coordinate and monitor bad debt process and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage and support credit-related internal/external audit and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) control activities and requirements.
  • Coordinate with various internal stakeholders including Treasury, Accounting, Investment, and Actuarial teams on credit-related matters and deliverables.
  • Develop, refine, and reengineer controls and procedures to improve efficacy and increase efficiency.
  • Manage 3 rd Party Vendor data sources where applicable and subscriptions as assigned.
  • Manage and lead a diverse team by fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting professional development, ensuring clear communication, and optimizing team performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with at least 10 years of relevant work experience

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence outcomes in support of organizational objectives
