We are now looking for a VP, People & Culture, EMEA to join our People & Culture function.
People & Culture unit contributes to business success by supporting all people and culture-related areas, such as talent development and acquisition, culture transformation, diversity, equity and inclusion, new ways of working, M&A processes, performance & rewards, and well-being, as well as providing operational support for people managers and employees. In this role, you will be shaping and executing our People & Culture initiatives. Reporting directly to the EVP, People & Culture, you will lead a team of dedicated People & Culture professionals and work closely with senior leadership, employees and other stakeholders. This position is based at our headquarters in Helsinki or at one of our main locations in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Driving the People & Culture strategy for the EMEA region. Providing leadership to the People & Culture team, ensuring the delivery of high-impact people solutions.
- Fostering a culture of growth, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Championing and driving cultural transformation initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Optimising talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing and engaged workforce. Implementing programs that support employee growth, career development, and succession planning.
- Further enhancing employee engagement by conducting regular feedback sessions to understand employee needs and address any concerns proactively.
- Leading transformation within the region to ensure successful adoption of new processes, policies and ways of working. Providing support and guidance to leaders and employees during times of organizational change.
- Ensuring the efficient and effective operation of People & Culture function in the region, including compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, IT and Operations, to ensure alignment and support for People & Culture initiatives. Partnering with global People & Culture stakeholders.
