POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and results-driven VP, Platform Engineering. This leader will be responsible for designing a platform roadmap aligned with business objectives, overseeing core capabilities, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. They will champion a “platform as a product” mindset while combining strategic leadership, technical expertise, and team management to deliver a world-class product suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, working closely with engineering and product leaders to ensure teams are aligned and driving toward common goals.
• Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering growth and career development.
• Apply technical expertise in Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern tools, technologies, and trends to continuously evolve the platform.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, standards, and certifications.
• Manage resource allocation and cost optimization to maximize platform efficiency.
• Combine platform knowledge with engineering and product insights to deliver an exceptional experience from development through to end-users.
• Drive effective stakeholder management and collaboration across the organization.
